My goal is to help children grow into productive, mentally healthy adults through working with them in individual therapy and with their families. I also work with individual adults about current problems and issues in their lives.;
My co-therapist, Shasta:

Teens, children and adults feel more relaxed when they meet me in Faye's office. I like to be petted. I listen and never talk about what I hear.
"Parenting has got to be one of the hardest jobs. As concerned parents we are constantly looking for answers on how to be better at raising our kids. The media overwhelms us with conflict information. Our friends and family always willing to offer advice, but how can we know for sure. Wouldn't it be great if there was an expert that we could actually talk to and share our individual concerns. . . . Mrs. Hallford is a native of South San Antonio. A graduate of Harlandale, she believes South San Antonio residents are greatly under served. Mrs. Hallford is well known for her presentations in 'Stress Reduction Through Play Therapy,' 'Self Awareness,' and 'Ways to Work with Angry Children.'"

About Faye Hallford, personally:
I love to travel. I've been to nineteen states and three countries. Some favorite places are Ottawa Canada and Washington D. C. I am a long-time Dallas Cowboys fan--since the 1970s! I admire Emmitt Smith for his persistence, and I use him as a role model for my child and adolescent clients. I've always had pets--currently three cats and a dog. My dog, Shasta, goes with me to work three days each week. I have been married for many years to Steve and we have a grown son, Jamie.
